Park Gun (Kwak Dong Yeon) travelling to school, on the bus he complains to himself about becoming a transfer student again. On the bus he spots another student, Kang Tae San (Moon Won Joo), with the same uniform but he is fast asleep. The other students alight the bus, unsure of when to get off Park Gun almost misses the stop.
At the bus terminal, the Tae San is awoken by the bus driver with a string of drool extending longer and longer. He complains to the bus driver as to why he didn't wake him up as he obviously looks like a student. Funny thing is, is that the driver addresses him as ajusshi.
At Poong Rang High School, students are getting punished for arriving late. Another student, Kim Ho Geol (Jung Jae Hyung), arrives in his car and flashy clothes, he tries to talk his way not of getting punished. He event tries to bribe the teacher with a box of vitamin drinks. He tries to act sly by excusing himself, to no avail he gets smacked with the teacher's cane full force.
Yoo Dae Chi (Lee Jae Jin) watches the punishment from the other side of the school gates. He successfully jumps over the school wall, avoiding punishment.
Dae Chi finds himself in the school cafeteria? kitchen? Where he finds a teacher eating ramen. Before sharing, the teacher asks for him to pay if he wants some. Dae Chi has no money and brings up the fact that they are family. His uncle suggests differentiating personal life from school. Dae Chi pinches the whole ramen pot as his uncle rants.
In the vice principal's office, new student Martis transfers. In comes a guy, with a short bob and teddy bear in hand. His older sister encourages him to introduce himself, he waves his teddy's arm. He mentions liking the school already his sister responds by saying she likes the vice principal already.
Right when the two leave, the vice principal immediately calls his mum to rant about how there was just a psycho with a teddy bear. He asks to be transferred, all in a childish manner as he pouts and fidgets.
In the school corridors, Gun and Lee Bong Hee (Yoon Bora) eye each other up and down as they both pass. Bong Hee seems to be interested in Gun.
Martis is already seated in class, he introduces himself to Gun but is met with the cold shoulder.The late comers from earlier make their way to class, making sure to a loud entrance. Their leader spots Martis immediately and begins to mock him. Next they analyse Gun. One the lackeys lifts Gun's head by the chin, Gun pushes his hand away. They demand for the transfer students pay their transfer fee, all cash excluding their bus fare. Gun ignores them and goes back to sleep whilst Martis re-introduces himself. Gun rises from his chair, stating that he has taken others' money people bit hasn't gotten his taken before. They latecomers laugh at this remark, asking once again for the fee.
Gun warns them that he is an iljin (bully). The leader makes a play on words, "What's after iljin? Eejin? What's after Eejin? Samjin?" (il is one, Ee is two etc). Whilst saying this, he pushes Gun's face. They agree to take this outside.
On their way out, Gun is stopped by Sae Rim. She asks if he has a girlfriend, if not she can go out with him. He straight out asks for her to get lost as he is busy. Offended yet flustered, she walks away hurriedly and turns back to tell Gun that he will regret his decision.
The school bells chime, the leader says Gun is saved by the bell.
We now get introduced to another teacher known as Teacher Song. She waves and instinctively Mr Lee waves back only to notice she wasn't waving at hime. Awkward.
In the hall way, Cane teacher (that shall be his name for now) sternly reminds Mr Lee that the three students that are always late are in his class. Mr Cane asks whether he is so clueless to think that warning the latecomers is going to be enough to convince them to not come late, calling the those three idiots.
Ho Geol arrives to class. Gun sighs as he senses that their will be more trouble coming his way. Ho Geol motions the "you're dead" signal to Gun. Ignoring the warning, Gun closes his eyes. Ho Geol is less than pleased.
Their teacher arrives (Mr Lee), he turns cold as he addresses the latecomers to come to the front of the classroom to receive a beating. The classroom becomes tense as Tae San arrives.
Thoughts
The first episode hasn't drawn me in, I might continue to recap if time permits. There were so many characters introduced in the first episode to keep up with. Anyways, here is the link to the first episode. I believe the same uploader has subbed all the episodes.
