She's So Lovable Episode 12 Recap

We open back to Se Na asking whether Hyun Wook knew her sister seeing as Jae Young did. Hyun Wook doesn't answer, she takes it as though he didn't know her as her sister wasn't very famous.

After sending Se Na home, Hyun Wook heads to Jae Young's place. Asking how he knew about Se Na. He asks of Jae Young to remain quiet as it is his business. Jae Young gets all cocky - I would have treated Se Na better if I had known.

Hyun Wook calls Se Na to tell her he misses her. As she runs out to go to his house, he is already waiting outside hers. He hugs her.



Shi Woo's comeback is a big success. Hyun Wook pushes for a single album to be produced. Meanwhile, Shi Woo invites Se Na over to celebrate. As Se Na blows out the candle on the cake, Shi Woo watches intently (he has fallen hard).


Hae Yoon has a chit chat with Hubby/President Lee. Who tries to convince her to go back to the company.

Shi Woo sorta gives a confession but not really.... Se Na says she likes someone else. Se Na is not sure whether to accept Shi Woo's offer of working with him on his next single album but then she gets a call - someone requested for a song... spoke too soon, it's Jae Young.



At the meeting, Jae Young brings up her sister again. Summary - he was close to So Eun, she was upset with her boyfriend... Se Na asks whether the boyfriend was in the music industry as well. He says yes but is uncomfortable telling her who that person was.

As Se Na heads home, she runs into Hyun Wook and Dal Bong. Hyun Wook is guilty looking as she tells him of the meeting with Jae Young and how he has close relations with her sister. Se Na doesn't want to meet her sister's boyfriend because she will only hate him.

Hae Yoon comes back to AnA. Hae Yoon warns him that Hubby was asking whether he had a woman in his life. Hyun Wook meets up with Hubby - Hubby straight up asks whether he will disapprove of this girl like the last one. Hyun Wook fires back - Who's the woman you're meeting? Hubby asks for Hyun Wook to end the relationship and apparently he will stop meddling in his love life - ummm you said that already the last time...



Wifey meets up with Tae Min. Indirectly but directly asks him to search up details about Hubby's relationship with that woman (Ji Yoon). Thus, Tae Min goes into spy mode - sunglasses and suit - peering from behind the brick wall into the cafe store (that Ji Yoon owns) - hiding behind the menu... We find out Tae Min knows Ji Yoon.

Shi Woo is at home with his mother. He is autographing many papers as his mother showers him with complements. He slips in a question: Would it possible for girls to not like me? His mother catches on that he likes someone.



Shi Woo pays a suprise visit to Se Na's, asking for her to sign a contract; to write songs with him. Product placement of Etude House lipstick LOL used as a finger ink stamping tool.

Sung Jin gives an ear full to Jae Young as he was trying to hire him as a vocal trainer for his company - he ain't no backstabber. Sung Jin tells him to stop being so greedy - it wasn't Hyun Wook's desire to become president - you were the one who spread rumors that So Eun cheated on Hyun Wook etc.

Se Na calls to reject Jae Young's offer but he reels her back in by suggesting they meet at the bar her sister use to work at, to talk about her sister. News gets to Hyun Wook fast via Sung Jin.



Conveniently, Se Na's phone is on vibrate... Jae Young arrives at the bar, strategically sitting in front of the wall with polaroids (pretty sure there is a picture of Hyun Wook and So Eun together). Hyun Wook rushes to find Se Na. He finds her right outside the bar and ushers her into his car.

Hyun Wook takes her to the beach. He asks whether she would still love him if he turns out to be not the person she thought he was. Se Na nods. He also asks whether she would come with him if he were to go place faraway. She asks whether he would as well. He nods.

At home, Se Na talks to her sister/guitar - that she has someone she wants to be with and hopes her sister would like him too. Hyun Wook talks to a trinket/So Eun - hoping that he hasn't made the wrong choice.



At AnA, Hyun Wook and the staff review the new boy group - it is obvious Roy doesn't get along with the other 4 boys so they are now made to stay together at one dorm as they prep for debut.

Hyun Wook receives a call to confirm when that a letter has been submitted, as well as asking to be updated on an audition ending and an interview being booked. He asks for a three bedroom house near the campus...

Shi Woo arrives at AnA to say he has chosen Se Na to be his songwriter, Hyun Wook turns this down as Se Na has personal reasons as to why she can't do it (?) Shi Woo wants to hear this from Se Na herself. So apparently Se Na is going abroad to study.



Shi Woo pulls her in for a hug, unwilling to let her go (GOSH I'm so much more invested in their relationship than Se Na and Hyun Wook SIGH).

So Dal Bong is being left behind with Sung Jin. Hyun Wook packs Dal Bong's things, he comes across a baby photo. Se Na says her farewells to Joo Hong and boyfriend - Se Na is going to Berklee. Se Na goes over to Hyun Wook's to help him pack, she looks at the photo of Dal Bong and recognises the scarf he is wearing - it was the scarf Se Na knitted for her sister which also has her hair clip on the scarf.

At home, Se Na recalls Hyun Wook's reaction to her asking about the scarf. Connect the dots PLEASE.  



At AnA, Hae Yoon finds flight confirmation sheet on Hyun Wook's desk for him and Se Na - She finds out Jae Young is the reason for the sudden leave. Hae Yoon pays Jae Young a visit - she asks why he didn't keep quiet - why he had to meddle - she slaps him for being a BAST***.

She makes it clear that she was content with just having Hyun Wook by her side whether he was to be with her or not - but now Jae Young is driving him away again - she declares they have no reason to meet anymore. She had only put up with him all this time because he was Hyun Wook's friend.



Hyun Wook visits Hubby - making sure he knows that Informer has set a date for their showcase (the new boy group) and that Hubby should come back to the company as well as pay more attention to wifey and Min Ah.

After Se Na bids farewell to Joo Hong and boyfriend, she receives a phone call from Jae Young. Jae Young tells her that it was a shame they couldn't meet up last time, since there are many pictures of her sister in the bar. Se Na heads to the bar. Hyun Wook calls but Se Na says to meet at the airport instead.

 

Se Na finds her sister's picture but half of it is covered (the guy in the picture). She reaches for the picture, revealing Hyun Wook. She recalls all the coincidental meetings, Hyun Wook caring for her and Hyun Wook's hesitance that she was Se Na.

Hyun Wook calls Se Na at the airport - Se Na looks at her phone and back at the picture.

THOUGHTS

I'm not sure about anyone else but I'm much more invested in Se Na and Shi Woo's relationship. Their moments together are the ones I anticipate. Although their scenes are shorter together, I would gladly watch their relationship grow. The storyline between Hyun Wook and Se Na is just not enticing... I don't know... their interactions are not believable and don't spark any interest from me.

Anyone else have similar thoughts?
