Se Na comes back reassuring Hyun Wook that Dal Bong pinky promised her that he will wake up soon. As they get up to go home, Se Na brushes her hand against Hyun Wook's, feigning that she wasn't trying to grab it. Hyun Wook holds her hand.
The lovebirds are soon interrupted as Hyun Wook answers his phone. Se Na takes the bus home, telling Hyun Wook that's okay to go.
He arrives at a bar via Sung Jin's request to a passed out Hae Yoon.
Hyun Wook takes her home.
Confession time for Hae Yoon - she had started liking Hyun Wook 12 years ago, during the time she was most depressed for failing her mid-terms, Hyun Wook was the one to encourage and console her. From then on she had studied extremely hard so she could study abroad with him. During that time, she fell in love.
She confesses how much she had hated So Eun. She felt so awful for it...
She doesn't want to stand idly for someone else to take him away from her.
Hyun Wook stops her there, not wanting to lead her on.
An investor, SBCN, is wishywashy with their promise to invest. The staff advise for him to pay a personal visit. A new boy group will debut within a month after Shi Woo's comeback.
Hyun Wook visits Hae Yoon in her office. She asks whether it was Hyun Wook who took her home, she doesn't remember much after that... He tells her to have a safe flight.
Shi Woo catches Se Na in a good mood, as she stares at Hyun Wook's picture.
The two bicker. Se Na opens her locker to find presents.. She assumes it was Shi Woo but he denies it. He grabs her hand, asking her to eat.
Se Na: Why are you grabbing my hand? Let go.
Shi Woo: If I let go, will you eat with me?
Se Na: Fine, I'll eat.
As Shi Woo and Se Na are leaving the company, they run into Sung Jin and Hyun Wook. Hyun Wook okays the two eating but this the first and last time before Shi Woo's promotions wrap up.
As hubby is cooking crab stew, Wifey has words with miss cafe owner. Miss Cafe's child comes running in, telling her that all the kids were jealous because of the clothes dad brought him.
Miss Cafe calls to warn that Wifey had come by, expecting that she is suspicious. Hubby tells her to close her shop for a few days.
LOLs.. Wifey calls Tae Min out for drinks. She asks whether he wants to hold hands with her.
Se Na sends Hyun Wook the picture of him and Dal Bong Plus an edited version with Se Na in it. He stops himself from replying.
Se Na sees Hyun Wook at the recording room. She asks whether he is avoiding her. He avoids answering with another question.
Hyun Wook gets a call from Tae Woo, who wants to meet up with both Hyun Wook and Se Na. Tae Woo asks Se Na to write him another song, since the first had a good response. Asking for a song as sweet as her face.
The two go on a street date. Watching the live performances just as rain comes pouring down.
Se Na gives her coat to Hyun Wook, like how he did for her last time. She pulls him in for a gentle kiss. Telling him she likes him, she thought he did too.
Hyun Wook: It is true you made me feel something, but this is as far as I'll go. No more than this.
Se Na: Why?
Hyun Wook: Because you are Yoon Se Na.
Side note: Hae Yoon is back from her trip to Hong Kong.
Hubby has met with the broadcast station before Hyun Wook has a chance to, confirming that Shi Woo is able to perform on stage. Jae Young comes to burst the mood once again.
Jae Young gets hubby aggravated as he claims that he must have threatened the broadcaster.
Shi Woo visits Se Na in the practice room. Asking whether she has any song of encouragement for him as his performance is tomorrow. Shi Woo sings a little piece of encouragement to himself. Se Na laughs.
Shi Woo: Don't laugh. It makes me nervous.
It's Shi Woo comeback day. He runs into Jae Young, he wishes him an insincere good luck. Hoping for him to do well so his boys not get backlash.
Shi Woo stands nervously infront of the stage as the crew are prepping. Hyun Wook comes to offer him a lollipop as a congratulatory gift for his comeback. Claiming that it will relieve stress. Hyun Wook has one for himself too.
All the trainees have gathered to watch the performance, including Se Na in the practice room.
One of the back up dancers goes missing right before the performance. Leaving a text saying he is sorry and can't perform. Hyun Wook quickly thinks of a re-arrangement.
As Shi Woo performs, the audience don't have a reaction - his fans are not in the audience. Shi Woo trips as be backs into one of the dancers. Which puts him off beat for the remainder of the song.
The injury was worst than expected and is sent to the hospital. Shi Woo is placed in a cast. He had torn a ligament = end of promotions.
Hyun Wook meets up with Jae Young, accounting him for the loss of a dancer. He conveniently recruits the dancer at that time... All this is a competition to Jae Young. Hyun Wook throws a punch at the mention of Se Na.
Hyun Wook: I should have done that 3 years ago, it took me too long.
Se Na texts Shi Woo as soon as she finds out about his injury. He tells her to come if she wants to know how he is doing.
Shi Woo: When I got hurt, I wanted to see you.
He asks her to be the first person to sign his cast. He pulls her close when she returns the marker. Well apparently, the paparazzi is allowed inside hospitals. As the mystery snaps this moment.
Shi Woo: Now I understand why I feel this way.
Se Na: By any chance, do you like me?
Shi Woo: By any chance, is it okay if I do?...
Hae Yoon gets a call from a reporter... She asks to meet in person.
Se Na finds Hyun Wook on the rooftop, she hopes that he can find strength from her as she did with him. He asks for her to count to ten. They both don't move.
As Se Na heads back, Hae Yoon asks Se Na directly to leave AnA immediately. At a board meeting, Hae Yoon informs Hyun Wook that she fired Se Na, showing him the picture of Shi Woo and Se Na. She has stopped the report in the mean time. Hyun Wook states it wasn't necessary, there is no romantic relationship between the two. Hae Yoon asks why he is so confident.
Hae Yoon: You can't like her, because she is So Eun's younger sister...
Hyun Wook: Tell me, did you tell her?
Hae Yoon: What if I did?
Hyun Wook runs out to find Se Na. Finding her near her home. As he steps towards her, she steps back...
THOUGHTS
Two steps forward, a thousand steps back. Once again we are on the continuous loop of waiting for this couple to actually get together, I suppose last episode wasn't legitimate. Here I was thinking we were moving at a decent pace...
