Although I'm mainly a korean drama addict, I have watched quite a few korean movies over the past decade or more...
Here I will be listing the movies I have enjoyed, some I have re-watched and others I didn't find too appealing but watched anyway. Don't know... movies are a good pass time for me and I tend to give the whole movie a go rather than skipping through it if it's boring.
The Beauty Inside (2015) Quite the touching movie about a woman loving a man despite his physical appearance changing everyday.
Always (2011) A more recent find, this a teary one. Great storyline and nice ending. It leaves a meaningful message in my mind, even long after the movie.
My Sassy Girl (2001) One of my first korean movie experience, a very funny and memorable movie. Definitely a classic!
The Classic (2003) What I can recollect was this movie wasn't too bad, honestly I can't recall what it's about though
My Tutor Friend 2 동갑내기 과외하기 레슨 II (2007) I love this movie so much, I have re-watched it many times... I have always kept an eye out for Park Ki Woong after this.
100 Days with Mr Arrogant (2004) Romantic comedy! Enjoyed this one, light hearted.
My Little Bride 어린 신부 (2004) Love this one!
A Werewolf Boy (2012) This one made me cry, a touching story... don't think I will re-
watch this one anytime soon... too many tissues, maybe when I need a good cry.
Secretly, Greatly (2013) Action packed! Intriguing storyline.
Architecture 101 (2012) Honestly this one took me two settings to finish... Over hyped
Miss Granny (2013) Funny and interesting storyline! Kim Soo Hyun's little cameo at the end made the movie all the better.
Do Re Mi Fa So La Ti Do (2008)
A moment to remember 내 머리 속의 지우개 (2004) This would be my all time favourite korean movie, I love movies that make me think long after they are over, that make me question certain things and provoke thought. This movie was certainly a tear jerker.
A Millionaire's First Love (2006) Don't you just love it when an arrogant guy changes for true love. This is a sad love story.
Il Mare 시월애 (2000) Time-travel romance where a couple lives two years apart in time but communicate through a mysterious mailbox.
Windstruck 내 여자친구를 소개합니다 (2004)
I'm a Cyborg, But That's Ok (2006) Like the title, the movie was ok... meh
My Girl and I (2005) Not bad.
My Baby and I 아기와 나 (2008) I liked this one, the baby was so cute... What ever happened to the Moon brothers.
Speedy Scandal (2008) I quite enjoyed the storyline - funny yet serious.
200 Pound Beauty (2006) I think everyone has about seen this movie. It's a good movie to start with if you haven't watched a korean movie before.
Seducing Mr Perfect (2006) Storyline was meh
The Red Shoes (2005) Not too bas of a horror movie, chilling at times.
Cello (2005) Another horror, the type where everyone (nearly) dies in the end.
