We open back to Hyun Wook playing a piece for Se Na to hear, they kiss and the exchange of I love you. The next day, Se Na looks the necklace Hyun Wook had gifted to her in its box. She answers Hyun Wook's call - she won't be coming into AnA today.
She pens a letter which Hyun Wook finds on her keyboard. The letter relays her desire to not be a burden in his life - losing confidence in staying by his side - wanting to apart for a while. Hyun Wook reaches for his phone - her number is disconnected.
Se Na arrives at the train station with her bag and guitar. Hyun Wook just misses her train.
ONE YEAR LATER
Shi Woo arrives at AnA coming back from overseas promotions. He mentions he met Jae Young on the plane - he was VERY interested in Hae Yoon - she has no interest. Hyun Wook is writing songs again - every song is a hit.
Hyun Wook is a host at a radio station - he gives straight forward advice to a listener - if your gf is not answering your calls then break up with her she is not worth your time. Apparently, he doesn't work with female singers.
Hyun Wook comes across Jae Young begging a producer to give his kids a go - the producer turns him down as there is not enough interest towards them. The two talk - Hyun Wook gave up his presidency and is now a successful song writer - Jae Young has lost everything, trying to do his best with the money he has left.
Hyun Wook meets up with President Shin. Hae Yoon still feels embarrassed when Hyun Wook calls her president - it has been her role for a year. She had asked him to come to personally write a song for... Shi Woo.
The two are against the idea. The two bicker back and forth - Shi Woo asks whether he knows how Se Na is doing - he finds out Hyun Wook doesn't know. Meanwhile, Se Na is working at a restaurant - we find out she will be heading out to Seoul for 3 days.
Hyun Wook heads home (Hubby's place - he moved), Hubby asks whether he spent the night at that house. Asking why he still hangs onto it - it's the only place where he can write songs. Hubby also asks whether he is still waiting for that girl - Hyun Wook: you don't need to worry about that. Wifey comes with drinks - nudging Hubby to ask Hyun Wook to write a song for her.
Hyun Wook meets with Sung Jin - Wifey had come into AnA to become a singer and Hubby is pushing for it. Sung Jin asks about Se Na - Hyun Wook says he has forgotten about it now.
Se Na visits a pregnant Joo Hong. We find out that boyfriend became Shi Woo's manager - after Se Na left Shi Woo had came by often and became close to Gong Chul/boyfriend. Se Na finds out that Hyun Wook never came by, he even moved houses.
Se Na stops by Hyun Wook's old house. She enters the house - the keyboard and Dal Bok remain (toy dog). Se Na reminisces about her times with Hyun Wook. Speak of the devil he arrives outside the house. As he enters, she hides. Hyun Wook continues composing a piece - he leaves after changing a few notes.
Hyun Wook realises he forgot the score, he turns around to retrieve it - coming face to face with Se Na as she leaves the house. Hyun Wook is upset by the fact that she decided to just stop by - disappearing for a year then to reappear as if nothing had happened.
Hyun Wook confides in Dal Bok - asking whether he was too harsh on Se Na. Then we cross to Shi Woo who enters his van, he asks boyfriend why he was hired again = to relay any news he hears about Se Na. Boyfriend gets a call from Joo Hong - guess who is at their home.
Boyfriend comes home to give Se Na a big hug. The two girls are suspicious as to why he is so happy to see her. Shi Woo appears from behind - asking why she left without a word. He suggests for her to come back up to Seoul - for the sake of her future. You're going to regret losing a great man like me.
At AnA, the board congratulate Fiestar (girl group) on their triple crown win. Manager-nim (Shi Woo's previous manager) is dating a female staff (the one who use to order Se Na around) - Tae Min catches the two, warning that office romances are forbidden. At this time Tae Min sees Wifey - she notes his thinness and darkened complexion. He replies that he was always thin and of a dark complexion, relieved he can ease her worry as she thought she was the reason behind the change. LOL.
Shi Woo informs Hyun Wook that Se Na will be his composer as she has written many songs for him. If you're curious about Yoon Se Na ask me going forward. Hyun Wook is definitive in not caring. Yeah I guess that's about right since you two broke up.
Boyfriend sets Se Na up to meet Hyun Wook - per his request. Hyun Wook apologises for being harsh the last time they met - he asks how she has been. He gets worked up when he finds out she left her job to work at a restaurant. She leaves as she has nothing left to say.
Hyun Wook confides in Sung Jin. Blaming himself for acting that way when he just really wants her back. Sung Jin suggest he use his weapon - MUSIC to woo her. He then asks for Hae Yoon to hold off Shi Woo's album so he can finish writing a duet. He wants a certain someone to listen to it. Hyun Wook suggests she hire Jae Young as the composer for Shi Woo's new album.
Hyun Wook sits down to finish his song. Meanwhile, Hae Yoon meets with Jae Young, suggesting he work with AnA. She did like his music, wanting him to venture back into music rather than business. She conveys that it was a shame that his obsession with beating a certain someone got in his way.
Tae Min hides behind the door way to watch Wifey practice her vocals. Hubby suddenly appears, giving him a little shock. Hubby gives Wifey some coffee, Tae Min grabs it saying she should be watching her diet. Hubby gives her the other cup - don't overreact.
Hyun Wook hides a pen under Dal Bok's bed - why? I don't know... Crossover to Joo Hong wishing that Se Na could stay until she gives birth. Hyun Wook calls to make up an excuse for her to come over - my pen at my desk disappeared after you came by. Asking her to come find it.
He asks for Se Na to tell him exactly where she was at his house. Asking for the exact spot she had hid when he came in. As she squats at where she hid, Hyun Wook notices Se Na wearing the necklace he had gifted her. The door bell rings - Hubby comes over for drinks with Hae Yoon. Se Na is spotted - she leaves first. Hyun Wook blames his father for the bad timing.
Se Na texts Shi Woo to meet up. Se Na wants to properly say goodbye before leaving this time. When you comeback, come back to me.
Hyun Wook sets up a surprise event for Se Na. He asks for Joo Hong to bring Se Na to his house at 6pm. Se Na is on her way (leaving Seoul) as she tells Joo Hong - she spills that Hyun Wook had asked her to bring Se Na to his house.
Meanwhile Hyun Wook is at his regular radio gig - in a notably happier mood as noted by his co-host. Hyun Wook's phone vibrates in his coat - on the desk outside the recording room - Joo Hong waits anxiously. One of the writers' notices and shows him his phone. He reads the message - Se Na already left. Hyun Wook calls Se Na - she doesn't answer.
Hyun Wook takes the mic to tell his story today (rather that of a listener) - a problem he hasn't been able to solve for a year. He tells Se Na to not take another step, he can't send her away like this, not again. Se Na happens to pass by a radio.
Hyun Wook:
If we're meant to be, I know you'll be listening to my voice somewhere.
The year I spent without you was so awful, I think I wanted to throw a fit.
What I really wanted to tell you wasn't what I said. I wanted to hold onto to you.
I wanted to ask you to stay with me. Do you remember the song we wrote together?
I have been working on it for a couple of days but I didn't get to play it for you.
If you can hear this song, if you know my true feelings. Don't move and wait right there.
Hyun Wook plays the song. He runs out of the studio - knowing it is against the broadcast regulations. Hyun Wook arrives at the train station - a few metres directly in front of Se Na. The two hug.
Hyun Wook: I came late, didn't I? I missed you.

THOUGHTS
We have finally come to an end. The drama ended off with no strings loose/attached (?)... well nothing was unanswered is what I mean. But I feel as though we were all put into a loop - the same scenario happened way too many times. She leaves - she comes back - she leaves - she comes back etc. The drama did not need the full 16 episodes - honestly, the story could have been told within 10 episodes. Too much beating around the bush.
Besides the other 3 members of MHDR and Ra Eum disappearing from the face of Earth, the other characters stories ended neatly... The pairing for this drama was not believable. The storyline doesn't linger nor provoke thinking. I shall not be adding this drama to my favourites. SIGH~ Worth the watch? Not really. Sorry not sorry.
